Preparatory preparation
First, the user should be notified to organize the cabinet without affecting the normal work of the user.
Then according to the topological structure of the network, the existing equipment, the number of users, the user grouping and other factors to outline the internal wiring diagram of the cabinet and equipment location map.
Next, prepare the necessary materials: network jumpers, label sheets, and various types of plastic ties (legged dogs).
2. Organize the cabinet
Install the cabinet:
Need to do the following three things by yourself: First, use a screw and a nut with a random frame to tighten the holder; second, turn the cabinet upside down to attach the movable wheel; thirdly, according to the position of the equipment Holders adjust and add baffles.
Finish the line:
Group network cables. The number of groups is usually less than or equal to the number of cable management shelves behind the cabinet. Bundle the power cords of all the devices, insert the plugs from the rear through holes, and look for the respective devices through a separate cable management arm.
Fixed equipment:
Adjust the baffle in the cabinet to a suitable position so that the administrator can see the operation of all devices without opening the cabinet door, and add the baffle appropriately according to the number and size of the devices. Take care to leave some space between the baffles. Place all the switching equipment and routing devices used in the cabinet in the pre-drawn drawings.
Cable labeling:
After all network cables are connected, each network cable needs to be marked, the ready-made sticky tape is wrapped around the cable, and a pen is used to mark it (usually indicate the room number or what purpose is used), and the identification is required to be easy to understand. The crossover cable can be distinguished by using different colors of sticky notes and general network cables. If there are too many devices, the devices must be numbered and labeled.
3. Late work
UMC test:
When it is confirmed to be correct, turn on the power supply and perform the network interconnection test to ensure the normal operation of the user. This is the most important.
